Our range of programmes are designed to meet the care needs of individuals, improve quality of life and support community reintegration. First steps begin with a comprehensive assessment of each service user's lifestyle, medical conditions, and the support required to enable them to continue living as independently as possible.
We can assist service users whose existing residential placements are not able to meet their needs and who may require increased intensive rehabilitation. Care can be tailored to individual's needs, lifestyle and preferences.

Autism Spectrum Disorder

Autism spectrum disorder is a developmental disorder that affects how a person experiences relationships and interacts with the world around them.

Autism is a spectrum disorder, due to the broad range in the level of impairments. While some individuals with autism are high-functioning and can lead relatively normal lives, there are many people with autism who never speak and are never able to care for themselves.

We support adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to live, work, learn, and play in their community. We work with adults with ASD across the lifespan, encouraging them to find meaningful employment and live independent lives as possible.

Cognithan provides community-based residential and supported living services for adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Providing social and vocational experiences in the community are key components for an effective rehabilitation program that may lead to a life of dignity and independence for each service user.
